🎓💰 Investing in the Future of our Mountaineers!
Today, we had the privilege of awarding multiple scholarships to members of the Class of 2026—supporting their next steps in college and career. We are incredibly grateful to the organizations and families who continue to pour into our students’ futures.
James Leonard Jenkins Memorial Scholarship (Prudentia Lodge No. 719) awarded $15,000 to 10 students: Thomas Bowers, Dylan Burgess, Mallory Henderlight, Steven Webb, Reese Parton, Terra Lemmons, Bryce Shelton, David Frye, Sophia Glisson, Briley Jones
J.L. & Martha J. Goins Scholarship (Pellissippi State) awarded up to $3,000 ($750 per year, renewable for 2-years) to 2 students: Mallory Henderlight & Stephanie Spier
Franklin E. Robinson Memorial Scholarship (Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union) awarded $500 to Kaytie Stephenson

We are thrilled to announce that 2026 PreK & Kindergarten Registration will take place on Friday, April 10, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at all elementary school sites district-wide! 🏔️📚
Whether your little one is joining the Class of 2039 or 2040, we are ready to welcome you into the BCS family with open arms.
What you need to know:
✅ Greater Flexibility: No registration by last name this year—visit your school anytime during the 8 AM – 2 PM window!
✅ Unified Process: We’ve streamlined our forms for a more consistent, informative experience for every family.
✅ Planning Ahead: You will receive your student's specific staggered start dates right at registration.
⚠️ Important Note: There will be no school for current PreK and Kindergarten students on April 10 to allow our staff to focus on welcoming our newest learners.
